Position: Technical and Quality Manager
Job description
Tender Management:
- Analyze tender documents to understand the scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop and manage the tender preparation schedule to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with technical, sales, legal, and finance teams to compile necessary inputs.
- Prepare high-quality technical and financial proposals tailored to client needs.
- Liaise with clients for clarifications and follow-ups during the bidding process.
- Maintain a database of tender submissions, outcomes, and lessons learned for process improvement.
- Conduct risk analysis for tenders and recommend mitigation strategies.
Quality Management:
- Establish, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO standards or relevant frameworks.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for tender and quality processes.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Provide training to staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverables meet quality expectations.
- Stay updated on industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in tender management or quality assurance roles within the IT sector or a related industry.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with IT solutions, software, and services.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management and document control tools.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and tender portals.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Team collaboration and leadership skills.
- High ethical standards and integrity in decision-making.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Languages: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus, depending on the region.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Training in ISO standards or Lean Six Sigma.
