Position: Technical and Quality Manager

Job description

Tender Management:

  1. Analyze tender documents to understand the scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  2. Develop and manage the tender preparation schedule to meet deadlines.
  3. Coordinate with technical, sales, legal, and finance teams to compile necessary inputs.
  4. Prepare high-quality technical and financial proposals tailored to client needs.
  5. Liaise with clients for clarifications and follow-ups during the bidding process.
  6. Maintain a database of tender submissions, outcomes, and lessons learned for process improvement.
  7. Conduct risk analysis for tenders and recommend mitigation strategies.

Quality Management:

  1. Establish, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO standards or relevant frameworks.
  2. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for tender and quality processes.
  4. Identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  5. Provide training to staff on quality standards and best practices.
  6. Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverables meet quality expectations.
  7. Stay updated on industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years in tender management or quality assurance roles within the IT sector or a related industry.
  3. Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with IT solutions, software, and services.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality standards.
  • Proficiency in project management and document control tools.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and tender portals.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Team collaboration and leadership skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in decision-making.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Languages: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus, depending on the region.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Training in ISO standards or Lean Six Sigma.
