Role Overview

As a Tier 2 IT Support Specialist, you will be a key player in delivering technical support across a number of client companies. Your role will involve troubleshooting, configuring systems, and assisting with various technical tasks in collaboration with a skilled team of engineers. This hands-on role provides the chance to broaden your technical expertise in low to medium complexity environments.

Key Responsibilities
\n\n
\n\t
Technical Troubleshooting: Provide second line support for devices such as printers, NAS, laptops, as well as Windows client OS and Fortinet setups.
\n\t
User Management: Create and manage user accounts within domains and Office 365.
\n\t
Shared Storage Setup: Design and implement shared storage solutions effectively.
\n\t
System Configuration: Configure and set up systems like Cisco ASA, Windows Server, and Domain Controllers.
\n\t
Support Systems: Utilize ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve support requests efficiently.
\n
\n\n
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
\n\n
\n\t
Experience: At least 2 years in IT support, with proven expertise in troubleshooting and configuration.
\n\t
Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification would be an asset. Interest in pursuing such certifications or ones related to Fortinet technologies such as FCF going up to FCSS/FCX would be encouraged and supported.
\n\t
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows client OS, Office 365, and networking solutions, including Cisco ASA, AWS, MS Azure, or Fortinet.
\n\t
Domain Skills: Knowledge of managing domain users and configuring Domain Controllers.
\n\t
Driving Licence: A valid driving license is required, along with the ability to travel as needed.
\n\t
Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
