We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Vehicle Polisher & Workshop Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role combines professional vehicle polishing with general workshop support. The ideal candidate will ensure high‑quality finishing on vehicles while assisting the workshop with day‑to‑day operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform polishing, buffing, and finishing on vehicles to achieve high‑quality results.
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and ensure all polishing work meets company standards.
- Use polishing tools, compounds, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Support the workshop team with general duties as required.
- Collect and deliver parts from the shop or stores.
- Assist technicians with basic tasks when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the workshop area.
- Perform general cleaning and tidying duties to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Report any issues, damages, or irregularities to the supervisor.
- Support workshop operations during busy periods or when additional help is required.
Requirements
- Experience in vehicle polishing or detailing (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of polishing tools, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and handle workshop equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
