&lt;p&gt;The selected candidate will report to the Sales Manager HoReCa and will be tasked with building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients. The main responsibilities include achieving sales targets, delivering high-quality customer service to both existing and potential clients, maintain a positive business relationship with clients, managing receivables, and serving as a key source of information for the movement of goods and brand updates.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Job Duties&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Secure customer orders through personal or remote sales visits / calls.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Upsell orders by using flexible pricing strategies and multiple-order discounts as outlined by the Sales Manager. Actively promote supplementary products and specials.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Continually prospect and qualify new customers&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conduct follow-up sales calls to all accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Provide price quotes to all new and existing accounts upon demand.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Enter names and trading details of all new customers to company databases.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist dissatisfied customers with prompt resolution of any product or service problems that may occur, keeping management informed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Participate in sales meetings as required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain consistent and positive sales and customer service image when interacting with customers.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monitor records on a daily basis, tracking each day’s efforts both by monetary amount, weight or unit sales as applicable.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in Company promotional activities as may be requested from time to time.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Relieve other Sales Representatives if required&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Report to management the prevailing business trends and competitors’ activities and service rendered by Distributors aiming to provide information to the company to maintain and grow its relevance&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure proper utilisation, upkeep and presentability of Company vehicle and equipment under charge.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure personal presentability at all times.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Any other duties as directed.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Performance Evaluation&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Performance will be judged by the following objectives:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Achieve sales budget&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Achieve target penetration levels&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Achieve specific sales push exercises on specific brands from time to time&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Requirements&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Sales experience. Experience in HoReCa will be considered an asset.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Have excellent communication and negotiation skills.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Be self-motivated; show initiative, be results motivated and capable to work both within a professional team and independently.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Be proficient in using Microsoft applications and contact management software.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Have a valid driver’s licence.&lt;/li&gt;

Sales Representative (HoReCa)

&lt;h2&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Overview&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Safely operate company delivery vehicles (truck/van) to transport products to customer locations according to assigned routes and schedules.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or spoilage.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Verify delivery orders against invoices to ensure accuracy of products and quantities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Handle invoices, obtain customer signatures, and maintain accurate delivery records.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collect payments where required, including cash handling, and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Report any delivery discrepancies, vehicle issues, or customer concerns to the Logistics Coordinators or Warehouse and Distribution Manager promptly.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each shift, reporting any defects, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to optimize delivery schedules and fuel consumption.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Use GPS systems, route planning software, and company delivery applications as required.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Secure loads correctly to prevent movement or damage during transit.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collect any returns as required and as supported by paperwork.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Check all delivered orders as per invoice and any collected returns as per GRN.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure products are stored and transported in accordance with company quality and safety standards.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Safeguard company assets, products, cash, and documentation while in transit.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Resolve minor delivery issues on-site and escalate more complex concerns to management when necessary.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Represent the company positively at all customer locations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Adhere to company health and safety procedures when loading, unloading, and handling products.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Use appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment to minimize the risk of injury.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist with picking, packing, sorting, and preparing orders when required.&lt;/li&gt;
