About This Job
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Weighbridge Operator to support both our administrative and operational functions. This role combines bookkeeping with weighbridge operations, ensuring accurate transaction recording and efficient coordination of materials in and out of the site. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial and administrative documents.
- Assist team members with data needed for financial reports and other internal requirements.
- Operate the weighbridge to record details of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Ensure accurate data entry for all weighbridge transactions.
- Perform other office-related duties as required
Required Skills & Qualities
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also contributing effectively in a team.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and managing time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in English Language is mandatory; proficiency in Maltese Language will be considered an asset.
- Computer literate
- Eagerness to grow professionally and learn as part of a dedicated team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in bookkeeping and/or weighbridge operations is preferred.
- Understanding of basic workplace safety and procedures related to weighbridge operations is beneficial.
