About This Job

Overview  

Join a growing team to manage client accounts, support sales and finance processes, and contribute to operational excellence. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience managing relationships and financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

- Client Onboarding & Support: Coordinate onboarding activities, deliver product/service briefings, handle queries, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with quotations, proposals, order processing, and follow-up to help close deals and meet revenue targets.

- Invoicing & Billing: Prepare, issue and reconcile invoices; follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with finance to resolve discrepancies.

- Reporting & Analysis: Produce regular account reports, track key performance indicators, and provide insights to support decision-making and account growth.

- Contract & Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date client records, contracts and documentation; ensure compliance with company policies and contractual terms.

- Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (operations, technical, finance, and customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline account management processes and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: Mid-senior level experience in account management, client services, or related commercial/financial role.

- Education: Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related discipline preferred.

- Languages: Professional fluency in English; working knowledge of Maltese.

- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Comfortable with invoicing, basic reconciliations, and understanding of sales processes and KPIs.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident in client-facing interactions and internal stakeholder collaboration.

- Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple accounts/priorities, and meet deadlines.

- Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM and accounting software is advantageous.

- Personal Attributes: Proactive, client-focused, problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and professional demeanor.
