You Will:

  • Apply actuarial methodologies and models to calculate IFRS17 reserves.
  • Compile all actuarial data and assumptions and generate cash flow forecasts (Long-Range Cashflow and Long-Term Insurance Contracts) to determine reserves at various year-ends.
  • Assess reserve levels, capital requirements, and dividend amounts.
  • Produce regular reports, including Pillar II reports.
  • Additionally, craft the risk management policy and establish the reference framework for risk measurement.
  • Continuously monitor technical and risk factors within portfolios, taking note of alert indicators.
  • Develop essential actuarial, statistical, and data tools, including methods and models for actuarial studies, to enhance understanding and risk estimation, as well as automate and optimize data.
  • Offer actuarial support for operational activities and projects.

Skills/Experience:

  • Has earned a master's degree from a university, along with a diploma in actuarial science.
  • Brings 3 to 5 years of experience in actuarial roles within the insurance sector.
  • Proficient in IFRS 17 reporting standards, especially regarding onerosity assessment, discount rate selection, liability calculation for incurred claims, and comprehension of risk adjustment.
  • Exhibits familiarity with key non-life product categories and possesses robust knowledge of motor, health, and home insurance businesses.

 Salary / Remuneration: 55,000 - 90,000 DOE, annual bonus, life, health insurance, transportation allowance, food allowance.
