
About This Job
Role Purpose
The Admissions Officer is responsible for supporting prospective students throughout the admissions and enrolment process, while also assisting with student recruitment activities, business development and international student administration.
Main Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries from prospective students by email, telephone, online and in person.
- Provide information on courses, entry requirements, fees and application procedures.
- Guide applicants throughout the admissions process and follow up with prospective students to support enrolment.
- Review applications and supporting documentation and maintain accurate student records.
- Assist international students with documentation and procedures relating to Identità and residence requirements.
- Liaise with Identità and other relevant authorities when required.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organisations and partners to promote Global College Malta and generate student recruitment opportunities.
- Attend B2B meetings, networking events, fairs, open days and other promotional or recruitment events in Malta, including outside normal office hours where required.
- Occasionally travel overseas to represent the College at student recruitment events, fairs or meetings.
- Work closely with the marketing and academic teams on recruitment campaigns and upcoming intakes.
- Assist with student onboarding and other admissions related administrative duties.
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English and Maltese.
- Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
- Confident and professional when dealing with students and business contacts.
- Good attention to detail and administrative skills.
- Comfortable with sales, follow ups and achieving recruitment targets.
- Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office or CRM systems.
- Flexibility to attend local events when required and willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
- Previous experience in admissions, education, sales, customer service or business development will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Identità procedures relating to international students will be considered an advantage.
