Architectural Assistant/Draftsperson

As an Architectural Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the architectural and structural team in the design and execution of various projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals in the field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Heading PA applications of the office, liasing with PA officials, preparation of PA applications and follow-up of application at PA;

- Meeting clients;

- Preparation of architectural, structural, interior and landscaping drawings on CAD;

- Preparation of drawings, presentations, documents and drawings;

- Preparation of detailed construction/structural drawings and tender documents;

- Carrying out site work such as but not limited to carrying out surveys on site, measurements of works on site, inspections and taking photos on site.
- Support the team in client presentations and meetings, effectively communicating design concepts and project progress.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of MQF Level 4 qualification in construction engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and design processes.
- Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Self-motivated and hard working.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations in Malta
