&lt;p&gt;Assist customers with gardening needs, provide product advice, promote and upsell items. Maintain displays, stock and cleanliness, process POS transactions, handle payments, support deliveries, care for plants, and ensure excellent customer service.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Customer Service&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Greet customers warmly and assess their gardening needs&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Answer questions about plant care, maintenance, and suitability for different conditions&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and loyalty&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sales &amp;amp; Product Knowledge&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Actively promote products and suggest complementary items&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Meet individual and team sales targets&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Stay current on new products, seasonal items, and gardening trends&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Upsell and cross-sell appropriate products&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Shop Floor Operations&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising standards&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Keep sales floor clean, organised, and well-stocked&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Ensure proper signage and pricing accuracy&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Point of Sale&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Process sales transactions accurately using POS system&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Handle cash, credit, and debit payments responsibly&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Wrap and package products appropriately for customer convenience&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;General Duties&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Assist with seasonal displays and promotional setups&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Water and care for plants on the sales floor&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Follow health and safety procedures&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Support team members and work collaboratively&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Participate in staff training and product knowledge sessions&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;* Deliveries to Clients&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Valid Category B (car) driving licence required.&lt;/p&gt;
