&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Role Overview&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and ambitious person to join our growing audit team.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As an audit manager, you will work closely with senior team members and managers to assist in the execution of statutory audits and financial statement reviews for a diverse portfolio of SME clients.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Audit Execution:&lt;/strong&gt; Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing statutory audits for corporate clients in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and local regulatory requirements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Testing &amp;amp; Verification:&lt;/strong&gt; Perform substantive and analytical testing on various financial statement line items (e.g., cash, receivables, payables, prepayments, and expenses).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Documentation:&lt;/strong&gt; Prepare accurate, clear, and well-organized audit working papers and documentation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Client Liaison:&lt;/strong&gt; Gather necessary documentation, schedules, and clarifications from clients under the guidance of seniors.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Compliance Checks:&lt;/strong&gt; Assist in verifying statutory compliance with the Maltese Companies Act and General Accounting Principles for Small and Medium-Sized Entities (GAPSME) or IFRS where applicable.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Continuous Learning:&lt;/strong&gt; Keep up to date with evolving accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory updates in Malta.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Requirements &amp;amp; Qualifications&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Education:&lt;/strong&gt; In possessioin of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or in the final stages of obtaining such a degree.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Knowledge:&lt;/strong&gt; A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and auditing concepts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Skills:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Maltese.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and collaborate well within a team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- &lt;strong&gt;Experience:&lt;/strong&gt; Experience in an accounting or audit environment is a requisite.&lt;/p&gt;
