Bartender

Elba Restaurant (Falbra Ltd) is looking for an experienced and dynamic Bartender to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greeting customers, making recommendations and taking beverage orders
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Planning drink menus and informing customers about new drinks and specials
• Upselling and topping up customer drinks where necessary and as instructed by the supervisor/manager on duty
• Developing new cocktail recipes
• Taking inventory and ordering suppling to ensure the bar is well stocked
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Handling customer complaints and resolving any issues
• Processing payments
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations
• Assisting with other duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Training in mixology, barkeeping, or other related courses will be considered an asset
• Have extensive knowledge of common drinks to recommend to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines where necessary
• Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavour pairings
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask
• Very good verbal and written English skills.
