HireHound Recruitment in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Breakfast Server to join their client's team on a full-time basis. The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing excellent service to guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role involves setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their meal;
- Take and serve orders accurately and promptly;
- Address guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary requests;
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and well-stocked;
- Monitor the buffet and replenish food and beverages as needed;
- Ensure the presentation of the buffet is appealing and meets hotel standards;
- Keep the dining area clean and organised, including clearing tables and washing dishes;
- Ensure all serving areas, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised;
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment;
- Monitor inventory levels of breakfast items and report shortages to the supervisor;
- Assist with ordering and restocking supplies as needed;
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to maintenance;
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service;
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors;
- Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Must have Food Handling Course;
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel dining setting is preferred;
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices;
- Good communication and teamwork abilities;
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
