This position requires a responsible, committed, and motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment. The selected candidate will report to the Chief Operations Officer and the Airport Manager and will be an integral part of the Avis Budget Carpark Service Attendants team at Malta International Airport. This role involves direct interaction with customers, so professionalism and a “can-do” attitude is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Park cars in allocated parking spaces at the Malta International Airport Car Park.
• Check and ensure that cars meet standards prior to delivery to clients.
• Meet and greet clients, demonstrating car features.
• Fill out inspection forms with clients.
• Receive clients upon car return, collect keys, and re-check the car against the inspection form for additional damage.
• Charge clients for any damage incurred during the rental.
• Coordinate with headquarters and fleet drivers for the delivery and collection of cars.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
• Proficient in English.
• Ability to interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to form good working relationships.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently.
• Willingness to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous experience in the field is considered an asset.
