An exceptional opportunity has opened for an accomplished investment professional to take on a Chief Investment Officer role with a leading financial institution. This is a pivotal position suited to a senior leader with a proven track record in investment oversight, risk management, and strategic asset allocation.

As Chief Investment Officer, you will drive the organisation’s investment vision, overseeing portfolio construction, governance frameworks, and managing performance across multiple asset classes. You will be a key voice at the Investment and Risk Committees, providing expert analysis and recommendations that shape strategic direction, ensure compliance, and maximise long-term value creation.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external managers, maintaining the highest standards of governance and risk discipline. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in a financially strong, globally connected institution, while influencing investment outcomes at board level.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and oversee strategic asset allocation across all investment portfolios.
• Monitor performance, challenge external managers, and ensure disciplined investment governance.
• Present investment strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to senior committees and boards.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in investment management, oversight, or risk management.
• Strong expertise in multi-asset investing, including fixed income, equities, alternatives, and cash.
• Solid understanding of Solvency II, ALM, and regulatory capital considerations.

Salary & Benefits: €60,000 – €70,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, performance-based incentives, and executive-level exposure within a highly reputable financial organisation.
