Delivery Person

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and punctual delivery person to join our onsite team. The successful candidate will handle collection and delivery of goods across the local area while maintaining high standards of customer service and safe driving.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, sort and load goods and documents for scheduled routes.

- Deliver items to residential and commercial addresses on time and in good condition.

- Obtain recipient signatures or proof of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records.

- Communicate with dispatch to report delays, route changes or delivery issues.

- Inspect delivery vehicle daily, report maintenance needs and ensure vehicle cleanliness.

- Follow traffic laws, safety procedures and company policies while driving and handling goods.

- Assist with basic warehouse tasks as needed (packing, labeling, inventory checks).

- Provide courteous, professional customer interactions in English and Maltese as required.

Skills and Qualifications

- Valid driving license C appropriate for the van type and a clean driving record.

- Entry-level experience in delivery, or customer-facing roles preferred.

- Basic literacy and numeracy; ability to read addresses, follow routes and complete paperwork.

- Limited working knowledge of English and Maltese to communicate with customers and colleagues.

- Good time-management skills, reliability and ability to work independently.

- Physically fit for lifting and carrying goods (varied weights) and spending extended periods on foot or driving.

- Load from warehouse / garage goods needed to place orders

- Helping in loading and unloading containers and place them in their location

- Familiarity with GPS or route-navigation apps is a plus.

- Willingness to work onsite, follow scheduled shifts and occasionally handle overtime.
