Distribution Executive

The Distribution Executive reports directly to the Distribution Manager. The main focus of the role is ensuring a smooth operation within the supply chain – warehousing of products, deliveries and returns.

Main Duties:

· Oversee the daily cold stores operations & staff.

· Assist in the development of driver schedules.

· Analyze data for daily operations to assess performance, identify logistical problems & devise plans to solve such matters.

· Assist in the recruitment of quality staff members & conduct the required training as per company policies and procedures.

· Monitor the loading/dispatch operations are conducted in a timely manner.

· Coordinate distribution operations with cold stores staff, drivers & distributors.

· During the night shift be the direct contact between staff & distributors.

· Daily stock control for all product lines.

· Daily inspection at the cold stores, company equipment & company trucks.

· Monitoring & maintaining reports for the cleaning of the cold stores & company trucks.

· Providing reports as may be required.

· Coordinate rosters, any leave requests & mitigate any issues with sick leave reports for the cold stores staff & drivers.

· Any other duties as may be required from time to time.

Requirements, Skills and Competencies:

· Must have experience working in a fast-moving consumer goods market.

· Be IT literate & familiar using MS Tools: Outlook, Excel, Word.

· Possess excellent reporting and communication skills (Preference to candidates fluent in both Maltese & English languages)

· Able to work on a shift-based rotation (day, evening & night)

· In possession of a Maltese Driving License

· Highly organized

· Attention to detail

· Team player with a ‘Can do’ attitude
