Electrician (Workshop)

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Electrician within Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the chosen candidate's main role will include a variety of tasks relating to installation and maintaining electrical infrastructure throughout the Farsons Group premises.

Responsibilities include:

• Onsite work and management of commercial and industrial facilities;
• Fault Finding;
• Panel wiring, construction and installation;
• Labour management including apprentices and subcontractors;
• Ordering and receiving of materials;
• Documentation as established by company procedures and legal frameworks;
• Liaising with builders, Technical Leaders and project managers during contract works.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Experience across a broad range of electrical systems;
• Ability to perform electrical maintenance work of commercial and industrial facilities;
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings;
• Be committed and self-motivated with good organisational skills
• Ideally be in possession of the Wiremen licence A and B;
• Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
