English Teacher

Atlas Language School is an award-winning language school with operations in Ireland, the UK and Malta. Our school in Pembroke, Malta is looking to recruit creative, dynamic and effective English Language Teachers who are keen to learn, grow with us and share our exciting journey, who are ideally already in Malta and can start with us from May 2025.

What you'll do:

• Plan and deliver motivating and challenging lessons
• Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of students from a variety of countries and cultural backgrounds
• Develop a positive rapport with both students and other staff members.
• Bring open thinking and a willingness to develop into your teaching
• Select and develop supplementary teaching and learning materials to support teaching and learning
• Assist, from time to time, with course development through participation in level and course evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree (preferred)
• Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or TEFL level 4 or 5 (approved by the ELT council in Malta)
• ELT Council Malta Teaching Permit (in possession of or prepared to obtain it).

Salary and Benefits:

• 16 - 19 euro per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
• TEFL/Level 4: 16 p/h; CELTA/Level 5: 17 p/h; DELTA/Level 7: 19 p/h.
• Relocation package available for teachers living abroad who stay with Atlas for at least 1 year.
• Hours are available in the morning time and/or afternoon time.
• Minimum 25 hours per week, with extra hours available.
