&lt;p&gt;Reporting to the Operations Manager, the &lt;strong&gt;Environmental Technician &lt;/strong&gt;will perform a variety of duties involving removal, transportation, loading, and disposal of all types of asbestos materials and other hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work within duties and requirements of the Company Management Plan.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collection and packaging of waste from different waste generators.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Dismantling, packaging of waste and decontamination of related areas.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proper use and maintenance of personal protection and decontamination equipment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Loading of waste onto containers in preparation for shipment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proper labelling of waste and containers.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Collection of consumables required for use on site operations.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proper use of company vehicles and equipment.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Any other tasks that may be required for the day-to-day operations of the company.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;REQUIRED QUALIFICATION &amp;amp; ATTRIBUTES:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Good level of spoken English&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Preference will be given to candidates who hold any of the following:&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Valid Maltese or EU Category B Driving License&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Forklift Driving License&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Cherry picker License&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
