Salary: €40,000 gross per annum / Malta / Full-time, on-site / REWS Electrician’s Licence B / Hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical & Mechanical Technician who is able to personally

diagnose, repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.

The role will involve working with systems including:

● HVAC and ventilation systems;

● process and purified water systems;

● hot and chilled water systems;

● compressed air;

● electrical installations and control panels;

● automation and engineering monitoring systems;

● production equipment, including filling and packaging machinery;

Essential requirements

● Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or a related

discipline.

● REWS Authorisation Level B / Wireman Licence B (or an equivalent authorisation

recognised in Malta).

● Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial, manufacturing, building services or

similar environment.

● Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding and

troubleshooting.

● Experience with installation, commissioning, testing and handover of engineering equipment

and utilities.

● Good understanding of HVAC, water systems, chilled/hot water, compressed air, electrical

installations and control panels.

● Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics and technical

documentation.

● Experience working with contractors, suppliers and external service providers.

● Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to

detail.

● Ability to work independently, identify technical problems and follow them through to

resolution.

AxionPharm Limited is a new pharmaceutical company based in Malta, currently establishing its own manufacturing facility. The company will focus on spray-based pharmaceutical products, primarily nasal, buccal and sublingual formulations. We are currently in an active start-up phase — building our team and internal processes, preparing the facility with the goal of launching pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and developing an international distribution network.
