IDEA College is Malta's largest private further and higher education institution, delivering qualifications from Certificate to Doctorate level across 12 economic sectors, including Healthcare, Nursing, Digital Technology, Business & Management, Finance, and Education. As part of IDEA Group, the College is seeking a motivated and capable executive to join its growing digital learning department.

Role Overview

This is an important role within a growing department, as the College establishes and scales its eLearning catalogue. The successful candidate will take responsibility for eLearning operations, support ongoing projects, and contribute meaningfully to the College's digital learning strategy. It is an opportunity to make a real mark on how the College delivers online education.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the eLearning platform
• Serve as a point of contact for learners, academic staff, and external partners on all eLearning matters
• Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring reliability and user support
• Support the design, development, and evaluation of digital learning content in line with instructional design best practices
• Ensure all material meets accessibility, inclusivity, and pedagogical standards
• Monitor platform performance and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
• Communicate effectively with academic departments, administration, and external partners
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting on departmental activities and learner engagement metrics

Candidate Profile

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated experience in eLearning, digital course development, or a related area
• Prior experience working within or alongside an eLearning or academic department is highly desirable
• Proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools
• Excellent attention to detail and well-organised documentation practices
• A high standard of written English and the ability to communicate standards clearly
• A genuine commitment to lifelong learning and student success
