
About This Job
We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Field Service Engineer to join our team. The role involves providing technical service and support to customers across a range of scientific and medical equipment, including installations, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrations and validations.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop specialised technical expertise through training provided both locally and internationally, while working closely with customers, suppliers and our internal technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations and validations on specific scientific and medical equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- Install and commission new equipment at customer premises.
- Perform calibrations and mapping studies of equipment and controlled environments/warehouses.
- Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Provide professional technical support to customers and communicate effectively regarding service activities and findings.
- Complete service reports, calibration records and other required technical documentation accurately and on time.
- Report regularly to the Service Support Manager on the status and progress of ongoing tasks.
- Collaborate with the technical team and other colleagues during project execution.
- Escalate complex technical issues to suppliers, manufacturers or the relevant internal team when required.
- Ensure all tools used for installations and servicing are properly registered, maintained and stored.
- Follow company and customer health, safety and quality procedures at all times.
Training & Development
Full product-specific training will be provided locally and abroad, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to develop specialised knowledge and expertise in scientific and medical equipment.

Skills & Experience
- Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Electrical/Electronics, IT or a related technical field.
- Electrical licence A.
- Valid driving licence.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical or engineering environment.
- Experience working in a GMP environment will be considered an asset, but is not essential.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
