Finance Manager

Eden Leisure Group is looking to employ a Finance Manager to join the Finance Team. The Finance Manager will report to the Financial Controller. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to oversee the work being done by the Finance Team.

Responsibilities Include:

· Assisting the Financial Controller in setting departmental plans and objectives.

· Processing and verifying details of business transactions.

· Managing general ledgers, including account analysis and journal entries.

· Reconciling bank accounts, statements, and records, and taking corrective actions when necessary.

· Monitoring of stock.

· Preparing detailed monthly financial reports and management accounts.

· Compiling and submitting timely and accurate VAT returns.

· Providing support in budgeting processes.

· Preparing various ad hoc and periodic reports.

· Guiding and supporting the Finance team.

· Liaising with auditors and implementing necessary actions based on their recommendations.

· Ensuring timely payment of creditors and invoicing of debtors.

· Ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.

· Maintaining accurate and secure financial records in compliance with legislative requirements.

· Performing other duties as required.

Key Skills and Competencies

· High level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

· Meticulous in compliance and regulatory matters.

· Effective communication of financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

· Strong presentation and reporting skills.

· Advanced Excel skills.

Education and Experience:

· Several years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

· In the final stages of ACCA or fully qualified.

· Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central is a must.
