In this role, you will take ownership of the Company’s financial operations - managing accounting processes, preparing management accounts and regulatory reports, producing reconciliations and VAT returns, and driving improvements in financial systems.

Being the Finance Manager, you will also play a key role in strengthening internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the Finance Function.

Partnering closely with the CFO, you will collaborate on preparing financial statements and driving improvements across internal operations and client relationships.

This role calls for someone with creative, independent thinking who can bring fresh ideas while taking ownership of key responsibilities.

You will:

• Assist the CFO in managing the Company’s debtors and creditors in accordance with credit terms established in the relevant agreements.
• Managing the financial and accounting processes of the Company including the preparation of management accounts and reporting to supervisory authorities, in adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Preparation of VAT returns.

Skills & Experience:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, Master Degree in Accountancy, CPA, or equivalent); Warrant is an advantage;
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, fintech, investment, or insurance
• Knowledge of Maltese financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

Salary / Remuneration: €55,000 – €60,000 (depending on experience) + Career Development Opportunities + Dental Insurance + Health Insurance + Life Insurance + Optical Insurance + Flexible hours
