Consolidated Biscuit Co Ltd is a growing, dynamic food manufacturing business with a strong local and international presence, exporting products to over 25 countries worldwide. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a commercially minded and technically strong Financial Controller to join our senior leadership team.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will be a key strategic partner, providing financial leadership across the business. This is a high-impact senior role, ideal for a driven qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the full financial reporting cycle, including monthly management accounts, financial forecasting, and board-level reporting.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing cash flow management across all the financial cycle.
• Ensure statutory compliance, audit readiness, and the maintenance of robust internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial insight and analysis to support business growth, investment decisions, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and supply chain finance processes.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the finance, procurement and inventory teams.
Requirements
• Fully qualified / warranted accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) — this is an essential requirement
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong understanding of production cost accounting and inventory finance
• Track record in a senior finance role with direct exposure to executive or board-level reporting
• Experience in migrating manual processes to automated systems by implementing business intelligence tools.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
