About This Job
A vacancy has arisen within the Engineering Department for the full-time position of General Maintenance.
The successful applicant will form part of a team responsible for carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair works throughout the hotel and its grounds. Duties will primarily include painting, plastering, gypsum works, wallpaper installation, tiling, and basic Electrical and plumbing works.
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and reliable individual with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while consistently maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be well-organised, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship;
- Be able to communicate effectively in English; Maltese would be considered an asset
- Work effectively as part of a team as well as independently and with minimal supervision;
- Be proactive and able to use their own initiative;
- Maintain a smart, professional and well-groomed appearance.
Previous experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role would be considered an asset.
