Handyman

Join our team at Sunscape Properties Limited as a Handyman, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our properties in Malta. This position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled individuals who are dedicated to providing high-quality service and ensuring the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.

Maintenance Duties

• Perform routine property maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance inspections and report any major issues to the Property Manager.
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls, including plumbing leaks, electrical issues, and general repairs.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
• Ensure properties are in good condition by performing regular inspections.
• Install or replace basic fixtures such as light bulbs, locks, and handles as required.
• Handle minor painting, patching, and touch-ups when needed.
• Maintain inventory of essential maintenance supplies and tools.

Linen Delivery Duties

• Pick up, transport, and deliver clean linens to properties according to the designated schedule.
• Collect used linens from properties and ensure they are returned for laundering.
• Ensure linens are correctly placed in designated storage areas at each property.
• Maintain accurate records of linen usage and report any discrepancies or shortages.
• Handle linen stock responsibly, ensuring proper care and avoiding damage.

General Duties

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with guests, property owners, and team members.
• Keep company vehicles clean and well-maintained .
• Follow all company policies regarding safety, security, and property access.
• Provide reports on maintenance tasks completed and linen deliveries made.
• Identify and suggest improvements to maintenance and linen delivery operations.
• Assist with additional tasks related to property upkeep when requested by management.
