The Role

As Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department, maintaining outstanding quality standards across guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities.

You will lead, motivate, and develop the housekeeping team while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily housekeeping operations
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the highest cleanliness standards
• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping colleagues
• Prepare duty schedules, monitor productivity, and manage departmental resources effectively
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Manage inventory levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure prompt resolution
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards within the department

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Manager / Assistant Housekeeping Manager role within a hotel environment
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and standards
