Housekeeping Supervisor
DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic housekeeping team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and guest satisfaction within a hotel environment, particularly during the night shift.
Role Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Executive Housekeeper in the daily operation of the department, specific responsibility for overseeing public areas during the night shift. You will supervise housekeeping staff, ensure service standards are consistently met, and contribute to the smooth and efficient running of housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Housekeeper in the daily operation of the housekeeping department.
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping operations during the night shift.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Assist with staff training, guidance, and motivation.
- Monitor staff performance and report any issues to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a hotel environment.
- Previous night-shift experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
