Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in developing, maintaining and implementing of HR policies, providing timely and effective communication and guidance to ensure compliance.
  • Administer and coordinate performance management systems, including probationary reviews, performance improvement plans, and performance evaluations.
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate mandatory and elective training programs in collaboration with department heads (HODs), ensuring alignment with the annual training plan and training matrix.
  • Maintain and update training records and employee information in the HR database, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
  • Support the recruitment process by updating job descriptions, preparing job advertisements, screening applications, coordinating and attending interviews with the HR and Hiring Managers.
  • Organise, coordinate, and deliver induction programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and job opportunities.
  • Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee information, including leave records, sick days, and work schedules, and assisting in registering employees with relevant authorities (e.g., Jobsplus).
  • Administer work permit applications for third-country nationals (TCNs) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documents such as employment contracts, job offers, resignation acknowledgments, and other employee-related documentation.
  • Provide data, reports, and documentation to management.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that aim to improve organizational performance, employee engagement, and workplace culture.
  • Promote diversity, equality, and inclusivity as central aspects of the organization’s culture and values.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the overall operations of the HR department.

Skills & Attributes:

  • A minimum of 1 year HR experience.
  • Diploma in HR or equivalent (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A positive can-do attitude and self-motivated.
  • Ability to listen and learn quickly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail oriented, and responsible.
  • Excellent communication skills.
