Role Overview

Heroix, in collaboration with our Client, is looking for an Investigations, Sanctions & Fraud Manager. The role involves leading the efforts to prevent, detect, and investigate financial crimes. You will manage teams focused on sanctions, investigations, and fraud, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and developing policies to mitigate financial crime risks.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and manage the investigations, sanctions, and fraud teams to respond effectively to financial crime threats.

Complex Investigations: Conduct investigations related to financial crime, terrorist financing, fraud, or sanctions evasion.

Timely Analysis: Ensure internal reports and investigations are analysed and processed promptly.

Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate financial crime risks.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Coordination: Coordinate with law enforcement and regulatory agencies as needed.

Staff Training: Provide guidance and training to staff on financial crime prevention.

Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on investigations and outcomes to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Sanctions Screening: Oversee the implementation of sanctions screening processes and systems.

External Representation: Represent the business on external committees as assigned.

Project Collaboration: Work with other team members within FCC or other departments on ad hoc projects assigned by the Head of FCC.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Educational Background: Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, financial crime compliance, criminology, or a related field. A Masters degree is an asset.

Experience: Have a minimum of five years experience in financial crime compliance, investigations, or a related field.

Leadership: Proven track record of managing complex investigations and leading teams.

Mentorship: Mentor and coach other team members.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML, CFT, and sanctions regulations.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial crime investigation techniques and fraud detection technologies.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Integrity: High level of integrity and ethical standards.
