Job Summary:

As an IT Support Officer at Eden Leisure Group, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the group's technology infrastructure, ensuring that all systems and devices operate efficiently. You will work closely with the CTO to provide technical support to both clients and staff, guaranteeing a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Support:
    • Assist company staff with any technical issues related to computers, software, hardware, and other IT equipment.
    • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on IT protocols and best practices.
  • System Maintenance:
    • Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Collaborate with the CTO to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Network Management:
    • Monitor and maintain the group's network infrastructure, ensuring high-speed and reliable connectivity.
    • Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
  • Security Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce IT security policies to safeguard sensitive information.
    • Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Keep track of IT inventory, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
    • Assist in procurement processes for new IT equipment and services.
  • Emergency Response:
    • Provide on-call support for emergency IT issues outside regular working hours.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure swift resolution of critical technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT security protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide timely solutions.
