IT Systems Operator

Lombard Bank is a long-established credit institution in Malta with a successful and consistent track record as a quality provider of financial services. It operates a full service bank with a branch network and places emphasis on private and corporate banking both locally and for international clients.

In line with the Bank’s continued development, the need has arisen to engage a suitable individual to perform the duties of IT Systems Operator.

The main responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

• Running of the application processes and ancillary banking systems administration tasks related to the Core Banking System.
• Facilitating the timely availability of the Banking System to the branches and departments including the generation of reports and statements.

The applicants as a minimum shall:

• Hold an MQF Level 4 qualification in Information Technology or a related professional / technical qualification.
• Possess sound analytical skills, capacity for teamwork and determination.
• Have the ability to work after business hours on a shift basis.
• Have good communication skills, particularly in spoken and written English.

Experience in banking or financial services will be considered an asset.
