Junior Corporate Lawyer

Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Draft, review, and update contracts, agreements
• Prepare statutory documentation for the incorporation of new entities
• Assist in preparing and filing documentation related to share transfers and changes in corporate structure
• Manage the filing of statutory documents with relevant authorities to ensure regulatory compliance
• Identify legal risks and recommend strategies for mitigation, including the implementation of compliance policies and procedures
• Stay informed of legal developments, trends, and best practices in corporate and related areas of law
• Provide support with immigration and residency matters
• Liaise with clients, advisors, and regulatory bodies in a professional and timely manner
• Advise clients on company formation, maintenance, restructuring, and related legal matters
• Conduct legal research and deliver clear, well-reasoned opinions on client queries
• (Desirable) Apply knowledge of maritime law in relevant corporate contexts

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

• Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience
• Professional experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate law, maritime law, international taxation, or international business
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages will be considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Commitment to accuracy, diligence, and confidentiality

Education

• Fully qualified Lawyer holding a degree in law in an EU or UK jurisdiction

Working Hours

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30 (40 hours per week), with a daily 30-minute break
