&lt;p&gt;The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for organising and interpreting data from various systems within the company. Using technical expertise, the role ensures data accuracy and quality, providing insights that aid management in making informed business decisions. This position involves transforming data into actionable insights, enabling strategic decision-making.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Data extraction:&lt;/em&gt; Utilise automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Database management:&lt;/em&gt; Develop and maintain databases and data systems, ensuring data is well-organised. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Data accuracy:&lt;/em&gt; Perform analyses to assess the accuracy, quality, and meaning of data. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Problem identification:&lt;/em&gt; Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct issues. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Pattern analysis:&lt;/em&gt; Use statistical tools to analyse and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Business assessment:&lt;/em&gt; Assign numerical values to business functions to evaluate and compare performance over time. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Menu analysis:&lt;/em&gt; Prepare menu engineering matrices and analyses. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Cost control:&lt;/em&gt; Prepare and analyse cost control reports. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Trend reporting:&lt;/em&gt; Generate reports for management highlighting trends, patterns, and predictions. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Decision support:&lt;/em&gt; Prepare final analysis reports to guide management decisions based on facts and trends. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Priority setting:&lt;/em&gt; Collaborate with management to prioritise business and information needs. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Process improvement:&lt;/em&gt; Identify and define new opportunities for process improvements.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications, Skills and Attributes&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Relevant experience:&lt;/em&gt; Experience as a data analyst or in a related field. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Tool analysis:&lt;/em&gt; Ability to analyse existing tools and provide recommendations. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Data management skills:&lt;/em&gt; Proficient in collecting, cleaning, measuring, organising, and analysing data. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Attention to detail:&lt;/em&gt; A very fine eye for detail is essential. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Technical skills:&lt;/em&gt; Adept at queries, report writing, and making presentations. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Team collaboration:&lt;/em&gt; Strong team-working skills. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Communication:&lt;/em&gt; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Interpersonal skills:&lt;/em&gt; Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Software proficiency:&lt;/em&gt; Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.&lt;/p&gt;
