This Junior KYC Analyst position offers the opportunity to build your compliance career within an established financial institution, gaining valuable hands-on experience in KYC and AML while benefiting from the stability and expertise of a company with 11 years of presence in the market. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your career within one of Malta’s largest financial institutions by number of clients, while benefiting from the close-knit environment of a small, experienced compliance team. Working directly with the MLRO will give you valuable exposure to senior compliance expertise, hands-on experience across key activities, and the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and develop your career in KYC within the financial services industry.

You will:

• Manage client onboarding and new account opening, ensuring all required documentation is obtained and verified.
• Conduct KYC and client due diligence in line with internal policies and client acceptance requirements.
• Carry out ongoing client monitoring and name screening, identifying and addressing any issues or anomalies.
• Escalate compliance concerns to the MLRO and Management and support updates to relevant policies and procedures.

Skills /Experience:

• Diploma in Business Administration, Law, Finance or a related field
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role (open to interns), preferably in financial services
• AML, KYC and Risk Assessments knowledge

Salary / Remuneration: €20,000 - €25,000 (Depending on Experience) + health insurance, car parking, flexible work arrangements and performance reviews.
