Kitchen Porter

Elba Restaurant (Falbra Ltd) is looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and ready to be part of our team! You will play a key role in keeping our kitchen and front-of-house areas sparkling clean, safe, and welcoming for both staff and guests. The role involves helping keep the kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and shared spaces clean and organized, supporting the team and helping us provide a welcoming experience for our guests.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and crockery.
• Keep kitchen floors and surfaces clean, dry, and free from hazards.
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by chefs (e.g., peeling or chopping).
• Dispose of waste and recycling according to health and safety regulations.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines and procedures.
• Report any hazards or equipment issues to management immediately.
• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to uniform standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to supporting the team
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Physically able to handle kitchen tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and washing dishes
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
