Role Overview
Heroix is collaborating with a distinguished law firm to find a highly motivated Associate Lawyer to join their Corporate and Commercial Department. This role will have a particular emphasis on handling and assisting with mergers and acquisitions, alongside general corporate and commercial advisory work. The successful candidate will support the Corporate and Commercial team and work under the guidance of the Firm’s partners within the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities

M&A Transactions: Handling and providing assistance with mergers and acquisitions, including managing due diligence processes.
\r\n
Transaction Documents: Drafting and reviewing various transaction-related documents.
\r\n
Completion Documents: Drafting, reviewing, and handling all necessary completion documents.
\r\n
Legal Advisory: Providing general legal commercial and corporate advisory support.
\r\n
Team Support: Supporting the wider Corporate and Commercial team as directed by the Firm’s partners.
\r\n

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
\r\n
\r\n
Education: Must be fully warranted with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. Possession of an LLM or a similar Master's degree in a relevant field will be considered favourably.
\r\n
Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification legal experience. Experience within corporate and commercial litigation will be considered an asset.
\r\n
Language Skills: Excellent command of both English and Maltese is essential for this role, both in verbal and written communication.
\r\n
Communication Skills: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
\r\n
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
\r\n
Technical Skills: Proficient in handling M&A transactions and providing general corporate and commercial legal advice.
\r\n
Organisation: Able to manage tasks effectively and work under pressure.
\r\n
Self-Motivated: Is results-oriented and demonstrates a strong drive to achieve.

Problem-Solving: Capable of effectively addressing and resolving legal issues.
