An exciting opportunity has opened for a Life & Health Underwriter to join a well-established insurance environment focused on delivering sustainable, client-focused protection solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in life or medical underwriting who want to deepen their technical expertise while working in a collaborative and commercially aware environment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for assessing and underwriting risks in line with company guidelines, ensuring sound risk selection while maintaining strong service standards. You’ll work closely with sales, operations, and claims teams to support efficient policy issuance, respond to underwriting queries, and contribute to portfolio performance and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and underwrite life and health insurance applications in line with company guidelines
• Ensure timely and accurate issuance of underwriting decisions and documentation
• Support the underwriting strategy through portfolio and market analysis

Your Profile

• 1 year of experience in life or medical underwriting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Salary & Benefits

€22,000 – €27,000 depending on experience, plus: structured training and career development opportunities, collaborative working environment, exposure to portfolio management and underwriting strategy, and long-term career progression within insurance underwriting.
