Logistics Clerk

vacancy has arisen for the post of Logistics Clerk within Simonds Farsons Cisk plc. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the selected candidate will provide efficient, reliable, and timely support to the overall operations of the Logistics Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in stock control of finished goods, including periodic physical stock takes.
• Produce and issue return notes using relevant software and make amendments as required.
• Support planning and routing of daily sales orders/transfers, allocating orders to delivery trucks/warehouse, and issuing relevant documentation.
• Process and reconcile delivery truck documents, performing control or spot checks as directed.
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of forklifts, vehicles, and systems.
• Check and document returns of products, empty bottles, pallets, crates, and kegs, reporting discrepancies.
• Verify orders picked and loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Prepare system-generated or other reports/documentation and assist in their analysis.
• Retrieve documents from the filing system while ensuring proper security and organisation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Ordinary Level standard of education
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience in logistics or related fields is an asset
• Required to work on shift work
