General Skilled Worker

We are looking for a reliable and practical General Skilled Worker to join our team.

The role involves a variety of hands-on tasks within our workshop, including assisting with production, handling materials, preparing and finishing jobs, and supporting the day-to-day running of the workshop.

No previous experience with CNC laser cutting is required. We will provide full training and teach the successful candidate how to operate our CNC laser cutting machinery, giving them the opportunity to develop an additional valuable skill.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general workshop and production duties
• Assist with preparing, handling and finishing materials
• Use basic hand and workshop tools
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe
• Assist with loading, unloading and moving materials
• Follow job instructions and production requirements
• Learn to operate CNC laser cutting machinery
• Develop an understanding of laser cutting and production processes
• Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard

• Comfortable working in a workshop environment
• Willing to learn and take on new skills
• Able to work independently when required
• Previous workshop, fabrication, manufacturing or mechanical experience is an advantage

We are looking for someone who wants to work, learn and develop. Experience with laser cutting is not necessary — we’ll teach you.
