&lt;p&gt;HireHound Recruitment in Malta is currently looking to recruit a &lt;strong&gt;Maintenance Person&lt;/strong&gt; to join their client&#039;s team on a full-time basis.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1. Contractor Supervision&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Oversee contractors performing on-site maintenance work, ensuring all tasks are completed to company standards;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Communicate effectively in both Maltese and English.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2. Preventive Maintenance Support&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist maintenance technicians with regular upkeep tasks, including gutter cleaning, care of indoor and outdoor plants, and air conditioning filter maintenance.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3. Installation Assistance&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Support the installation of appliances, equipment, pipes, fittings, and fixtures related to HVAC, water, drainage systems, and machinery.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4. General Maintenance Work&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Perform plastering, painting, and whitewashing tasks;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Carry out basic carpentry tasks as needed.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5. Workplace Organisation&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure work areas and the maintenance workshop are clean, organised, and safe at all times.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;6. Collaborative Planning&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Work closely with the Facilities Manager, Facilities Officer, and Maintenance Technicians to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance tasks.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;7. Tool and Equipment Management&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition and safe for use.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;8. Emergency Response&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and Help Desk requests, resolving issues efficiently.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;9. Safety Maintenance&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Address and repair any items that pose safety hazards to building occupants, following guidance from superiors.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;10. Project Execution&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensure maintenance projects are completed on time and to a high standard, following all relevant protocols and procedures.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;11. Record Keeping&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Document all maintenance activities, findings, and completed work as per the maintenance schedule.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Skills &amp;amp; Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proficiency in English;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to work independently and as part of a team;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;A proactive approach to problem-solving and safety awareness.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
