Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all facility-related systems and equipment. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems along with their associated equipment.
- Diagnose faults following the manufacturer's procedures.
- Ensure efficient servicing and execution of preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain records and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
- Possess knowledge of and operate Building Management Systems (BMS), including equipment scheduling to optimize plant operation.
- Conduct daily checks on all pumps and record their readings.
- Report any identified issues that could lead to significant breakdowns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the plant room at all times.
- Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests.
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all RO systems, such as pumps, filters, and piping.
- Undertake necessary modifications or new installations as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Certification or relevant training in plant operations or maintenance would be considered as an asset.
- Wireman License A or B would be considered as an asset.
