MERCHANDISING LEAD with Credit Control Responsibilities

Consolidated Biscuit Co. Ltd. is seeking to recruit an experienced Merchandising Lead with Credit Control responsibilities to join our team.

This is a varied and hands-on role combining credit control, customer account management and merchandising leadership within the FMCG sector.

The Role

• Manage customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain good working relationships with customers and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Lead and coordinate the merchandising team.
• Maintain strong working relationships with leading retail outlets.
• Monitor product availability, displays, pricing and merchandising standards.
• Regularly visit retail outlets and be hands-on when required, supporting the merchandising team in the field.
• Liaise closely with Sales, customers and internal departments.
• Monitor and report on credit control and merchandising activities.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in the FMCG industry is essential.
• Experience in credit control and/or merchandising.
• Good knowledge of the Maltese FMCG and retail market.
• Established working relationships with leading retail outlets will be considered an important asset.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised, responsible and able to work independently.
• A practical and hands-on approach to work.
• Good computer skills.
• Valid driving licence.
