Role Overview

Heroix is collaborating with our Client in the IT sector to recruit an experienced Microsoft 365 Copilot Solutions Specialist. As part of the Software Projects Team, the selected candidate will help businesses improve the way they operate by assessing their needs and introducing intelligent solutions built around Microsoft Copilot and the Power Platform.

This senior position combines business analysis, solution architecture, customer engagement and user education. The successful professional will guide initiatives from initial discovery through implementation and adoption, ensuring that each solution delivers measurable operational value.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Opportunity Assessment: Examine working practices, internal communications and operational processes to identify where artificial intelligence could improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
• Business Discovery: Engage with customers and decision-makers to understand organisational priorities, document functional needs and establish clear objectives for proposed technology initiatives.
• Workshop Facilitation: Conduct interactive sessions for management teams and employees, helping participants understand the practical capabilities of Copilot and how it may be introduced across their organisation.
• ​​​​​​​Solution Architecture: Convert business needs into structured designs for intelligent applications, automated processes and conversational assistants that can grow alongside the customer’s requirements.
• Platform Development: Create solutions and provide technical direction using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and other relevant Microsoft technologies.
• Project Delivery: Contribute throughout the full delivery cycle, covering design, configuration, validation, release and subsequent refinement.
• User Adoption: Prepare clear learning resources and deliver practical training that enables employees and stakeholders to use newly introduced AI tools confidently.
• Data Enablement: Assist with organising, examining and presenting information required to support automation, reporting and AI-based functionality.
• Team Development: Share specialist knowledge with colleagues, provide constructive guidance and support less-experienced team members in strengthening their capabilities.
• Customer Support: Offer informed assistance following implementation, resolve operational concerns and recommend additional improvements based on evolving business needs.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

• Education: A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Information Systems or a comparable discipline would be advantageous.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience in business analysis, including discovering user needs, documenting processes, preparing functional requirements and working directly with stakeholders. Previous involvement in technology-enabled organisational change is important.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
• Communication Skills: The ability to present sophisticated technology topics in straightforward, accessible language suited to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interpersonal Skills: A consultative and customer-focused approach, with the confidence to build credibility, encourage participation and work effectively with employees, management teams and senior decision-makers.
• Workshop Delivery: Strong facilitation and presentation abilities, supported by experience conducting training or discovery sessions for varied business audiences.
• Technical Skills: Practical familiarity with Microsoft 365 and a sound understanding of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio or related low-code technologies.
• Business Analysis: Competence in gathering and interpreting requirements, illustrating processes and connecting operational challenges with suitable technology solutions.
• Solution Knowledge: A clear understanding of process logic, information structures and the principal stages involved in designing, releasing and maintaining digital solutions.
• Organisation: The capacity to oversee several assignments simultaneously, determine priorities and maintain progress across competing deadlines.
• Self-Motivated: A proactive and independent professional with genuine enthusiasm for artificial intelligence, workplace innovation and emerging Microsoft technologies.
• Strategic Thinking: The ability to look beyond immediate technical requirements and consider how each initiative can support broader organisational goals and lasting business improvement.
• Problem-Solving: A practical and analytical mindset, with the judgement to evaluate complex operational issues and recommend solutions that are usable, scalable and commercially relevant.
