MLRO & Head of Compliance – Leadership Opportunity

This MLRO & Head of Compliance position allows you to be part of a specialist business with an international client portfolio, diverse corporate structures and cross-border requirements, giving you exposure to a technically varied environment and the opportunity to broaden your regulatory expertise. You will join a business with a focused structure and an established presence in its sector, offering you the opportunity to contribute directly to the strategy while supporting its ongoing growth.

Joining a dedicated compliance team, you will collaborate with compliance and client onboarding professionals and oversee a small team, providing you with the opportunity to guide and develop colleagues while maintaining consistency and quality across compliance operations.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors and serving as the main liaison with the MFSA and FIAU, this position gives you direct involvement in senior-level discussions and regulatory engagement, allowing you to contribute to key business decisions and influence the company's compliance approach.

You will:

• Take responsibility for the oversight and ongoing development of the company's AML/CFT and regulatory compliance arrangements
• Supervise client onboarding processes, ensuring customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence and Customer Risk Assessments
• Represent the company as its primary contact with the MFSA and FIAU, managing regulatory communication and engagement.

Skills / Experience:

• 4 + years of relevant experience in AML/CFT and regulatory compliance within a regulated environment, preferably within a CSP or corporate services organisation
• MFSA PQD qualification will be preferred

Salary / Remuneration: €70,000 - €90,000 (Depending on Experience) + enhanced private health insurance, occupational pension scheme, hybrid arrangement, performance bonuses, wellness allowance, summer short hours and additional benefits.
