NIGHT CO-ORDINATOR

About This Job

Based offsite, the Night Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s overnight shift. This includes handling and assigning incoming calls, managing a team of employees, monitoring and maintaining service and safety standards, and handling any issues that may arise during the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Working with and giving direction to all functions within the operations arena to ensure the fleet is always optimised and operating in the most efficient manner while taking into consideration vehicle availability, maintenance schedule, operational restrictions, and customer preferences.
• Supervise and manage a team of roadside assistance drivers/mechanics during the night shift.
• Monitor personnel and quality standards to ensure they are being met.
• Handle any issues or problems that may arise during the shift.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members and other departments.
• Prepare and submit shift reports.
• Ensuring the customer remains the top priority.
• Handling of incoming calls.
• Any other duties which may be assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Availability to work overnight shifts.
