Operative - Brewing

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operative to join our brewing operations team. This role is key in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of beer and related processes. The successful candidate will operate plant systems and oversee all production processes whilst adhering to all quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the plant and its systems through control room and on-site operations.
• Prepare the plant for production processes, including weighing and adding raw materials according to standard procedures.
• Execute production programs efficiently, adhering to quality, safety, and procedural standards.
• Conduct equipment and area cleaning, and CIP procedures; assist with troubleshooting and periodic maintenance as needed.
• Follow sampling and process monitoring regimes across brewing sections.
• Identify and report faults to supervisors promptly, coordinating with the technical team.
• Operate multiple processes independently, including night shifts, and oversee specific standalone processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments and assist in training new Machinists.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Computer literate, including Excel.
• Willingness to work on a shift basis.
• Flexibility and aptitude to learn new equipment and automation systems.
• Strong attention to detail, process adherence, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
