Pharmacist

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join a professional pharmaceutical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medicines, providing professional pharmaceutical advice, and maintaining full compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and non-prescription medicines accurately and safely.
• Review prescriptions and ensure correct dosage, usage and potential interactions.
• Provide professional advice and guidance regarding medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and appropriate storage conditions.
• Ensure the correct handling and control of pharmaceutical and regulated products.
• Support stock ordering and inventory management.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, hygiene and confidentiality.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, suppliers and customers when required.
• Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations, products and industry developments.
• Carry out other pharmacy-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Valid Pharmacist Warrant in Malta – MUST.
• Previous professional experience working as a Pharmacist.
• Strong knowledge of medicines, pharmaceutical products and relevant regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Professional, responsible and reliable approach.
